I dealt with being short by first finding sports I excelled in; I was a very successful motocross racer and plenty of girls liked me. Then, after I entered college, I became a competitive fencer. I loved that sport, too, and excelled in kicking the A's of tall guys by being smarter and more skilled. I dated women of all sizes. I once turned down a woman 6'4" because I felt that she was too tall. My favorite height was 5'5" - 5''8". When I worked and lived in Slovenia, I found out that Slavic women don't care so much about height. They value accomplishment far more.

But a short person has no way of changing their condition. A shallow individual or society will have shallow standards.
